It’s hard to understate the value of warm, comfy feet when you’re riding in winter! Overshoes do an okay job, but nothing compares to the comfort of proper winter cycling boots. Staff member Francis has been using a pair of Northwave winter boots for a few years now, and he’s very pleased that he made the investment!
 
The new X-Raptor Arctic GTX has a few improvements over the older models that make this fantastic shoe perform even better. Now partnered with Michelin, the sole of the shoe uses a grippy rubber tread that makes these work brilliantly on flat pedals, as well as for walking, which is great if you’re not an SPD rider.
 
The warm Gore-Tex Koala membrane is waterproof, windproof and insulating, and a new Climaflex Neoprene collar uses the elastic Gore-Tex Rattler membrane to help reduce water ingress at the top of the shoe.
 
These shoes are the absolute best choice for comfy feet this winter. Pop into the shop to try on a pair!
