With amazingly low weight and high stiffness, the Venturi is an aerodynamically optimised frame that rewards you with brilliant speed. This is a bike that encourages you to ride fast but lets you cruise in comfort when you want to calm things down. The Prologo, Deda and Shimano kit ensure every contact point is a joy to use throughout your ride.
The Venturi is the product of over a year of design, development and testing. Like other aero bikes, it takes the aerodynamic features of a time trial bike and combines them neatly into a road frame. The aero profile of the tubes are designed using Orro’s shape design and reduce drag from air resistance allowing you to go faster without needing to put in more effort.
Using the latest 3D modelling software, the Venturi has a refined the tube profiles to create an aesthetically pleasing frame that boasts brilliant stiffness and comfort. A frame that encourages you to ride fast but lets you cruise in comfort when you want to calm things down.
The Venturi takes advantage of ST Carbon from UK manufacturer, Sigmatex. This specially designed carbon fabric uses unidirectional Spread Tow tapes which allow for a greater number of fibres in a smaller space. This means that the weight of the frame has been reduced whilst maintaining a high stiffness.
Optimised for 28C tyres, the Venturi follows the trend for wider tyres on road bikes. The wider tyre increases the comfort of the ride, but perhaps more importantly on an aero bike, they also have a lower rolling resistance and are therefore faster.
