The Gold is the figurehead of the Orro range, perfectly developed and obsessively refined to create the ultimate Gran Fondo machine.  The Gold possesses geometry and character that rewards the audacious; those with true devotion to their passtime, their art, their passion. Supremely comfortable while cruising on the tops – aggressive and efficient when powering in the drops.  Using Orro's unique Spread Tow Carbon Fibre developed and produced by Sigmatex, the Gold is afforded a ride of unparaelleled efficiency and luxury.
 
The frame builder’s ultimate aim is to produce a frame that is both light and strong, Comfortable and efficient. By identifying stress and load areas within a bicycle Orro have selected the ideal carbon for each section of the frame. Stiffer carbon fibre is used in the Downtube and Bottom Bracket – areas that are central to a bikes handling and power transfer. More compliant carbon is used for the construction of the Seat tube and Seat stays – offering vibration reduction. The use of Toray carbon produces a bike that is both compliant but fantastically stiff for any sprints and climbs that may come your way.
