It's fairly common knowledge now that the best type of front mudguard for MTBs is one that mounts to the fork lowers, but what you might not know is that Mudhugger make the best ones available! Used by shop staff for several years now, we're confident that a Mudhugger guard is going to do an excellent job of keeping the cack off you!
 
Designed to look stealthy when fitted, the Shorty offers awesome mud and spray protection, but isn’t as bulky as the original Front Race guard. It’s only 340mm long and very light, but it does a brilliant job of keeping your line of vision down the trail clear.
 
Equipped with various holes for fitting to different fork braces, the FR Hugger is suitable for all wheel sizes: 26er, 650B and 29ers. It also works on Plus-size tyres up to 3 inches wide in a Boost fork. Not sure if it’ll fit? The general rule is that if you can get your index finger between the fork brace and top of the tyre, there’s enough clearance to fit to your bike.
